Is it a true statement that happiness is something that is found? According to Merriam-Webster dictionary happiness is a state of well-being and contentment. Happiness appears to be a state of mind. If happiness is a state of mind, then it can’t be found. Other people can’t bring happiness, nor can they remove your feelings of happiness. Happiness comes from how situations are viewed. If situations are viewed in a negative light, happiness will not be found. If the situation is viewed in a positive way, then happiness is possible. Happy people generally look at issues and situations and choose to see something good in them.
The bible refers to the subject of being happy. It reads in Acts 26:2“I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews.” The scripture describes how it’s possible to think oneself happy. Which implies that happiness is a state of mind and can be controlled internally. So, look deep within and choose to think yourself happy, and enjoy true happiness. I Will, Will You?
