What good are connections if nothing happens because of the connection? Is it possible to connect when there is a disconnection? Connections are made when things are joined together. The things are joined together for a reaction. The reaction could result in a movement to complete a function or to start an operation, The connections could be for a particular type of service, a personal human connection, or a connection to provide power.
A source that provides water or an electrical connection will stay connected until it’s disconnected. This type of connection provides a continuous flow of water or electricity. When connections are made to provide power. The power source could be from a battery, gas, or electrical component. Once the battery or the electrical source is connected to the item. The item that is connected will have power to move forward or operate as it was intended to. The item could be a car, a lawnmower, cell phone, television, watch, lamp, stove, and many other items. However, once the power source is disconnected or drained the item will no longer function. To allow the item to function again the power source must be reconnected. If not reconnected the item will become useless.
When there is a human-to-human connection, it’s personal. The connection could be a strong feeling or a sense of belonging. Some individuals have shared that they have had instant connections with others. It has been reported by some individuals that they knew the person that they just met would be their life partner. They shared that there was an instant connection when they met the other individual. The individuals shared that it could be a love, like, or friend connection. They believed the connection was the result of an instant attraction. However, when the connection between the individuals loses its power or source of the attraction, the connection is broken, and they are no longer joined together. However, the connection can be re-connected if they choose to work on what caused them to disconnect. The connection can be reconnected if they are committed and dedicated to restoring the connection.
Connections for communication are made when an outgoing or incoming phone call is connected to the intended party. The call is made and connected, to have a conversation. The purpose of the conversation could be to share information, to place an order, to check in or up on an individual. Once the conversation ends the call is disconnected and the line becomes dead, and no further conversation can take place. However, the call could be reconnected, and the conversation can resume if a new call is made. Action is required to reconnect when the connection has been broken.
Connections are made for many reasons; The bible also speaks of connections and how those that are connected to the Lord should conduct themselves. It reads in Luke 6:46 “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” The most powerful connection that could be made is the one the individual has with the Lord. The connection with the Lord is one that provides an unlimited source of power, forgiveness, understanding and is not easily broken. If the individual chooses not to obey the things that God commands, he doesn’t instantly disconnect from the individual. God will still give them a chance to do what he has commanded, to change and stay connected. Remember that connections are important and when there is a disconnection its possible for a reconnection. I Will, Will You?
