Be Ready
What does it mean to be ready? Is it possible to be ready for every and all situations or issues. To be ready would imply that one needs to be prepared. Being ready means to have made all the necessary preparations for whatever situation or issue that might arise. Having checked the possible outcomes and have a solution prepared and ready to implement. There are many things that one can be ready for. Individuals can be ready for changes in the weather, changes in the seasons or changes in an individual’s way of thinking as they age.
The weather can change by the hour. Each day can have multiple weather events in one. The weather can change from cold, to cool, to warm to hot and may alternate between several temperatures in one day. With advance notice by way of the weather forecast, individuals can be ready for whatever type of weather that may happen in one day. In one day, the weather could deliver clouds that come packing strong storms or a day filled with sunny skies.
Based on how the calendar is set-up, it is expected that as the year progresses that the seasons will change. The seasons will change from spring, summer, fall and winter. Each season will produce a different scenery. It is possible to be ready, based on the expectation that the temperatures will vary each day. As with age comes wisdom and maturity and the potential to be ready when situations and issues arise.
The bible speaks of how to be ready. It reads in 1 Peter 3:15-16 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” The scripture is speaking about how to sanctify the Lord in your hearts and be ready for what an individual believes in their heart for their hope in Christ, I Will, Will You?
