Have you heard the saying, “fake it until you make it”? The statement, “fake it until you make it,” would mean that an individual is pretending to have something, or they have achieved an accomplishment before it has materialized. An individual would need to act or live their lives, like they are already in the place that they want to be. When “faking it until you make it,” is there an order that should be followed?
f there is an order, while faking it until you make it, what would be the correct order for an individual to follow to get what they want? Should they wait until they get close to what they want, before believing it’s possible to have what they dream about having. Should an individual act like they have what they want before they get it. Is it wise for an individual to do nothing and wait until they are in the position that they desire before they act on what they want? The “fake it until you make it” statement could be the same as walking in faith.
In the bible there are scriptures that could appear similar with the statement previously mentioned to “fake it until you make it”. In 2 Corinthians 5:7 the scripture reads “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”. However, the individual is required to have faith for what is wanted, they must have faith in God, because God is the only one that can bring anything into existence. Individuals that are believers must have faith and trust that what they want will soon come. While waiting they should carry themselves like they already have what they want. The scripture is a reminder to walk by faith and not by sight. I Will, Will You?
