Admiration and Embarrassment

What does admiration and embarrassment have in common? Admiration is when an individual is admired by someone for how they handle business, how they carry themselves, or a commitment that’s being kept. Often the admiration is the result of what another person wants for their lives.  It’s possible for an individual to have feelings of embarrassment when they have done something that is disappointing to themselves or another person. They can let themselves or others down by not keeping an obligation or a commitment. Individuals can be unaware that they are being admired because no one has communicated with them that what they are doing has not gone unnoticed. Often an individual is admired for something that they might not believe is noticed by others. Since they are not aware that someone has taken notice of something that they are doing or how they are living, they might not see it as important. The embarrassment comes when they are willing to lose what they are admired for. They might be willing to lose or turn away from what they are admired for, because no one has told them that, that thing they are doing is something that they are admired for.

There are also references in the bible about admiration. It reads in Revelation 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. The scripture is about a woman being admired that was drunken with the blood of the saint and martyrs of Jesus. The woman was viewed from a far and probably did not realize anyone was watching her. People pay attention to the actions of other and admire them from a distance. Since you never know who is watching you and admiring you, it’s a good idea to never give up doing what’s right. I Will, Will You?
