Deal

What does the word deal mean. According to Webster Dictionary the meaning of the word deal can be used as a verb or a noun. The word has multiple meanings. It means, to take action with regard to someone or something, to reach or try to reach a state of acceptance or reconcilement, to distribute the cards to players. The word deal could mean to purchase an item at a bargain or sale price. Some people may feel that they themselves, are a big deal, or there could be situations that need to be dealt with.

A deal could be reached for an item that is on sale and sold as a bargain deal. Bargain deals are generally advertised online or for an instore bargain that equals a reduction in the original price. An individual could think very highly of themselves and believe that they are a big deal. When an individual believe that they are a big deal, they may have feelings of superiority over others. The word deal could mean a situation that must be dealt with, a pressing matter that if not handled within a reasonable amount of time can get out of hand. It could lead to a situation that started out as a small matter but has ballooned into a mountainous issue. An issue that is now too large to comfortably deal with. Now instead of dealing with the situation, the situation could now end up dealing with the individual. However, you are equipped to handle and deal with any and all situations that may arise.

The bible writes of a deal that was made for those that believe in God, in 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So, glorify God in your body.” A deal was made for all of those that are believers of God. The scripture is reminder of the deal reached and the price that was made for those that believe. I Will, Will You?
